Our 2016 Annual Benefit was hosted by Casa Mezcal and raised funds for our Fellowship for Utopian Practice. In honor of Culture Push’s co-founder Aki Sasamoto and her DOING concept, artists and professionals led hands-on workshops for attendees. Josh Martin led a flute making workshop, Lilly Lam led a found object doodle workshop, Carolyn Hall led a workshop on historical marine ecology, Sara Eichner led a mapping workshop, and Michael DiPietro taught attendees how to make miniature macrame plant holders.

Beer was provided by Lagunitas, finger food came from local restaurants, and fun was provided by you!

Thank you for making it another great benefit. Thank you also to the artists that shared their time and knowledge (Lilly Lam, Josh Martin, Carolyn Hall, Sara Eichner, and Michael DiPietro) and thank you to our generous benefit committee (Maureen Connor, Geoffrey Hendricks & Sur Rodney Sur, Felicity Hogan, Aki Sasamoto, Linda Stein & Paul Vidich)!
