 WELCOME TO KWANZAA KRUSH!

Denae Howard (Director of the Black Utopian Fellowship) and #DayOnesArt would like to invite you our Year End Fundraiser!  The Black Utopian Fellowship, an incubator created by #DayOnesArt in collaboration with Culture Push, is a year-long Fellowship for Black artists, researchers, scientists, and inventors, with career development and mentorship through a connection with Black-run institutions. The Fellowship shares resources and supports social engagement, educational programming, and revitalizing community hubs.

We are aiming to bring in $5000 to aid us in fulfilling our commitments, so please join us!

What will your funding support?

* Our Individual Fellows and the continuation of their Projects and Programming.

* General Operations for upkeep of the Black Utopian Fellowship.

        * Our upcoming Black Love Summit.

Through the month of February The Black Utopian Fellowship will be hosting programming throughout the month of February and create a book that represents this. The book will include imagery of all of our works that speak to this theme. The works created and shared via the Black Love Summit will exist virtually as well as in person via my artist studio at BKLYN Commons, during the month of February "Black Love Summit" presentation will focus on practitioners of Black Love through history and emphasizing how we continue to care for each other locally.

#DayonesArt collective will share art and content as a tool of inspiration to highlight local leaders.  As a critique of the capitalist propaganda of Valentine's day, and the historical rhetoric in regards to Black History Month, this exhibition will shift the gaze toward a more diverse array of Black leaders who create opportunities and share compassion within their communities.

* Assistance in keeping the doors open for #DayonesArt Studio in Brooklyn New York!

Any amount welcome! All donations will help and we'd love to have you as part of our community
